2024 SPRING SUMMER
“Daydreams”
Naoki Takizawa 2024 SPRING SUMMER “Daydreams” collection, directed by Naoki Takizawa, explores the delicate boundary between reality and imagination. Light materials, airy silhouettes, and subtle color transitions evoke the feeling of drifting through a daydream. I participated in the collection’s development process during my time working under Takizawa, contributing to the creation and realization of the collection’s concept.
Textile Design
During this collection, in addition to participating in the overall development process, I was responsible for creating the textile patterns for the entire line. Working closely with skilled artisans in Kyoto, I developed intricate designs using advanced techniques such as gold and silver foil printing and musen yuzen — a traditional Japanese dyeing method often used for kimonos. The collection captures a delicate, dreamlike atmosphere, expressing the beauty of fleeting moments through craftsmanship and imagination.

Monogram pattern design
A monogram created with the NAOKI TAKIZAWA brand logo, inspired by traditional Japanese patterns. It balances Japanese cultural elements with adaptability to Western fashion. The worn texture reflects the wabi-sabi aesthetic, celebrating imperfection and transience.
Gold rose petals pattern
A continuous pattern newly designed by extracting the petal elements from YASUKA.M's artwork. Inspired by the image of petals dancing in the sky, the design evokes the flow of sand and wind. To create depth, delicate details are layered intricately, transitioning from untouched white spaces to finely rendered textures.
